Nelson Series

1/4 Nelson, 1/2 Nelson, 3/4 Nelson, Power Half

Counters: KEEP HEAD UP, Look away peal the hand, Wing it, Leg Post opposite side,

Double Leg

Finishes: Tackle,Front Lift, Blast, Side run, Outside Trip, Turk

Counters: Sprawl, Crossface, Near Ankle, Crotch

Waist Ankle

near ankle, far ankle

Sit Out

half hip heist to shoulder roll, with hand control looking for Peterson roll, Stand Up, or Switch

Craddles

Inside, Outside, Cross Face, Cross Legged, Spladle

Counters: KEEP HEAD AWAY FROM KNEES Flatten out, put arm over head, work grip and kick out with both feet together

Single Leg

Outside Step - Head Inside Inside Step - Head Inside

Finishes: High/run the pipe, High/Foot Prop or trip, Low/Outside Trip w/Navy or Limp Arm

Counters: Sprawl, Whizzer, Stand down

Knee Ankle

shoulder block far knee and ankle

Switch

Hip Heist with a cut, or Hip Heist to Groin with back arch and high leg

Counters: re-switch, step-over

Tilts

2-1, load the hips and block the leg Churella, block the hips, leverage the tilt, block the chest with hand

Front Headlock

Finishes: Brands, Jack Hammer, Cradle, Shuck

Counters: Elbow control, Outside Kelly, Inside Kelly, Drag, Circle to Outside Trip

Spiral

w/half, w/underhook, w/cross body

Granby Roll

Hand Control, Clear Hips, Legs Launch the roll. Hit on the Jam, from the standing position, or during a scramble situation

Counters: Spiral, Tight Waist splitting stance

Legs

Guillotine, Helicopter w/Cross face, Banana Split, high-legs with power half, body scissors, double grapevine

High Crotch

Outside step - Head outside

Finishes: Double Leg, Firemans

Legs

Cross body working far arm or leg, or high legs working underhooks and power half

Counters: Mule Kick, Capture the Leg, Hip Smash, Crab to foot-shin hold, Tripod Swim the Head, Crab Swim the Head

Bridging

Explosive, up on the head with back arched, hip heist to belly down, this base up

Arm Bars

Chicken Wing, Double Chicken Wing, sitting out and figure 4 the head, Turkey bar

Counters: KEEP HANDS IN FRONT on belly down, if the arm gets trapped swim out, use free hand to help control trapped arm, post leg opposite side

Throws

Lift Back Arch, Head and Arm, Leteral Drop

Counters; High Knees, Level Change Leg Attack, Roll through

Tiger

Tight waist, head in arm pit, circle to head looking for half nelson

Sprawling

Align the spine, push off of the hips, laces down, stuff the head, cross face, circle to ankle and hip in

Headlock

Arm across the face, elevate the head, Circle the head, post on your head to maintain position

Counters: push the button belly down, hook the leg and back arch, Shoot free arm over opponents head
